Design & Development

Maker Studios came to us with a challenge to rebrand their most popular channel and relaunch their original channel after both had gone through multiple revisions over the past 6 years. 

A channel started for gamers, dedicated to gaming content, Polaris evolved over the years into a much more diverse source for gaming related content. Unfortunately, the brand identity did not reflect this evolution.  Like with The Station, we looked at the brand DNA of Polaris and created a unique design language expressing life game-ified. Our overarching theme was to use the glitch, something that happens in games and apply that to everything we did. Again, celebrating imperfection. Really communicating the theme, “Life isn’t a game but it would be a lot more fun if it was.”
